Fanqi Meng has been in charge of 3 categories with 14 sub-categories national and international green ecological city, industrial park and characteristic town model projects, including Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, Qingdao Sino-German Eco-Park, Beijing Future Science City, Shanghai Pudong Beicai Low-Carbon Community, Shanghai Thumb Plaza, Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park, National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, Hangzhou CBD, Sino-German (Lianyungang) Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Cooperation Demonstration Zone, Xiaogan Airport Industrial Zone, Jingmen Green Building Materials Industrial Park, Tianjin Xiqing New City, Tianjin Jinghai National Ecological Civilization Pilot Demonstration Zone, Tianjin South Station Science and Technology Business District, Tianjin Wuqing Business District, Guangdong Yunfu Xijiang New City, Furong New Area as Comprehensive Demonstration Zone of Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Fiscal Policies in Shaoguan of Guangdong, Shaanxi Yan ‘an New Area, Zhejiang Quzhou West District, Hunan Zixing Yuanhe Town, Hunan Rucheng Historical and Cultural Town, and Beijing Zhangziying Tourism Town. He is also the main member of Sino-French Business District sustainable development working group. He undertakes two urban sustainable development topics of the Ministry of Science and Technology National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) research projects. His efforts have helped clients to achieve leading positions in sustainable development both naturally and internationally, and his projects have been recognized on the national or provincial levels. He is the main member of implementation working group on developing key performance indicators at the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (CSTEC), which is the first intergovernmental cooperation eco-city KPI system in the world. He is the main editor of ‘Navigate the Eco-city : Implementation of CSTEC KPI System’ book. He enabled breakthrough in green ecological indicator implementation policy-making of Beijing Future Science City, and helped Qingdao Sino-German Eco-Park to obtain the first certification from German TUV NORD. He participated in the establishment process of the Tianjin Green Building Research Institute which is the first green building end-to-end consultancy institute and supervised its work in China. He also provided consultancy services on many types of green building projects in the CSTEC and the BFSC, and is in charge of the GEF Green Building Consultancy project at the CSTEC. Regarding the smart city projects, he participates in Siemens CLM Software, City C&C+ Urban Carbon Emission Management Platform and China-Singapore Cooperation of Public Building Energy Consumption and Carbon Emission Monitoring Platform. |
